Application Deadline: Please apply by April 9, 2005
Payment: $100.00 for the day + up to $25.00 for materials.
Calling all Visual, Musical and Theatrical Artists in North Hastings
Community Future’s goal for this project is to have an artist in every classroom in North Hastings on the same day, providing an hour long interactive workshop for students. This project is endorsed by the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board.

Help support the new banners and flags on the Main Street and fundraiser for our town beautification. Hastings Highlands and the Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans of Maynooth have provided matching funds generously.

The Singing Quilter – Cathy Miller

Cathy Miller is a quilter and folksinger/songwriter who, with her musician husband, John Burge, tours a program of songs, stories and quilts to events around North America and Australia.

Chameleon’s Cove – Open Mike

Cost: Audience: $2.00 – Performers: Free
Come and tantalize the senses with music, dance, poetry and other talents performed by local artists. All are welcome to come and perform as well. Supports local charities every week and has an honorary musician and artist.

2nd Annual Fritz’s Day Bike Ride – Maynooth Community Centre

Ride, walk or run a lovely route along the Hastings Heritage Trail. The 2nd Annual fundraiser for the Meals on Wheels Program in honour of Fritz Steffanhagen, a tireless volunteer in his community. Fritz passed away in January 2004 and his family gave the Maynooth Business Association their blessing for an annual event to commemorate the man and his mission. This is a co-operative activity with Community Care for North Hastings in Bancroft.
