Have you checked out Child Care at North Hastings Children’s Services Lately?

We currently have spaces in the following programs:
Licensed Child Care Centre
· We offer licensed childcare for children 16 months to 6 years of age. Care can be full time; part time, occasional and can include full days or half days.
· Partial or full fee subsides are available.
· All care is provided by qualified Early Childhood Educators who have been approved by the Ministry of Children’s and Youth’s Services. Staff receives ongoing training and professional development.
· Children enjoy a structured program daily that includes a hot, nutritious lunch and several snacks. All of our programs are age appropriate and encourage children to learn curriculum at the childcare centre.
· The centre is open from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm.

Licensed After School Program
· Currently, After School Programs are offered for Bird’s Creek, Bancroft Public and Our Lady of Mercy.
· Staffed by a Ministry approved Early Childhood Educator.
· A nutritious snack is provided as well as games, opportunities for outdoor play, homework assistance, crafts and the occasional movie viewing!
· Full or part time care is available at $7.00 / child per day.
· If your child’s school doesn’t offer an After School Program and you would like it to, call us and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Licensed Home Child Care
· If you need childcare that offers more flexible hours than our Child Care Centre, or prefer a more home-like environment for your child, then Home Child Care may be what your family is looking for!
· Partial or full fee subsidy my be available for your family.
· All caregivers are screened by our Home Child Care Coordinator and their homes must meet Ministry requirements.
· Random home visits are done to ensure licensing requirements continue to be met.
· Home Child Care Providers are offered ongoing training and professional development.
· Meals and snacks are prepared in accordance with Ministry standards.
